Announcement Of The iPhone 5S To Take Place In June?

These are some of the most impressive smartphones ever to hit the market, but these will invariably mean that Apple will face tougher competition than ever before when it comes to the launch its next iPhone model.

In recent months, there has been widespread speculation about the next instalment of Apple’s iconic smartphones series. A number of sources have suggested that in 2013, we will see the release of an iPhone 6, a budget iPhone model and an iPhone 5S. The latter has seen the most speculation, with plenty of rumours regarding its potential features and release date. However, Apple is yet to officially announce this device, but a number of sources have suggested that the phone will be released this summer.

This has recently been backed up by a leaked document from a Japanese mobile network operator, GSM Arena reports. The document suggests that the iPhone 5S will be officially announced by the California based manufacturer on June 20^th, with a release date to follow shortly afterwards in July. This is the latest of a number of rumours suggesting a summer launch for the device, and although we cannot currently verify the credibility of this source, it certainly coincides with previous rumours about the phone’s release date.
