As the third quarter of the year approaches we are starting to hear more information regarding the new iPhone 5S model which is expected to be released over the next three months. Foxconn, a manufacturing partner of Apple are boosting their staff levels according to new reports in preparation for a massive production run.
A huge production run of the new iPhone 5S is said to be underway following a big recruitment drive from the manufacturer Foxconn. New that the company have taken on a large number of addition staff has been taken as an indication that Apple have begun the production process for their new flagship device. China Business News have provided us with this information in a report where they stated that a recruitment company who are responsible for Foxconn’s manufacturing plant in Zhengzhoy have begun a large scale hiring operation in anticipation of the high demand expected for the phone.
This latest report mentions the iPhone 6 model which is expected to arrive next year instead of the iPhone 5S, however this could just be a mistake as the 5S is widely believed to be the next iPhone to arrive. In this news report the tipster provides some details about the new device. It is stated that the display will be bezelless and that the model will be constructed from Aluminium and Carbon Fibre which means that the phone will be 40 per cent lighter than the previous models. Details that have recently been leaked have revealed that the device will have an improved camera and also a brand new iOS7 operating system. There is a second model which is set to be released with this phone in the form of the iPhone Light that will be the new budget version of the handset that is set to target emerging markets.
For sometime we have known that the new iPhone 5S will be arriving over the next three months, therefore not many people will be shocked by the news that Foxconn are increasing their staff count for the production run.
