During the last few months, there has been an increasing amount of speculation and widespread rumours about the next instalment of the Apple iPhone series. It is widely believed that Apple will launch an iPhone 5S model as a follow-up to the current iPhone 5, which is likely to see a number of upgraded hardware features and the recently announced iOS 7 software update.
It has also been rumoured that Apple is working on a more affordable version, which would allow the California based manufacturer to compete with rival manufacturers like Samsung in the budget smartphone market.
Apple Insider has recently reported that an iPhone accessories manufacturer has leaked blueprints of both devices. Apparently, the blueprints came directly from Apple. Of course, the popularity of iPhones means that iPhone accessories are big business, so a number of companies are already likely to be designing and manufacturing accessories for the iPhone 5S and a budget model.
The blueprints back up previous rumours that the iPhone 5S is likely to sport an almost identical design to the iPhone 5 model, and back recently leaked photos of iPhone 5S components.
The blueprints also show the design of the budget iPhone model, which is referred to in the diagrams as the iPhone Light. The design looks quite similar to the iPhone 5, but with a number of subtle changes along with slightly larger measurements.
Of course, Apple is yet to officially announce these phones, but a number of sources have suggested that an announcement will take place at some point in summer, with a likely release in September, one year since the iPhone 5 hit the market.
If true, we expect more news about the iPhone 5S to be revealed in the coming weeks, so naturally we will keep you posted when we hear of any more information, and list best prices for iPhone 5 contracts and iPhone 4S deals.
